ADVICE FOR PRACTICE

Come on an empty stomach.
Avoid smoking or drinking exciting drinks before practice, this could disturb your breathing and energy flow during practice.
Do not use strong deodorants and perfumes that may hamper breath control and concentration.

Freshen up before practice.
Comfortable, elastic and light clothing is recommended to move freely and to allow the teacher to see the alignment of the body.

Leave the body free of necklaces, bracelets and watches.
The practice is performed barefoot: It is possible to wear socks during relaxation.
Bring a towel to cover yourself during relaxation which will also be used by the teacher for adjustments.
It is advisable to not wipe the sweat during the practice, rather to massage it on the body.

Do not drink during practice.
Saliva is necessary for humidifying the throat.
Do not drink or eat immediately after practice, leave the organs at rest for at least 20 to 30 minutes.
Always advise the teacher in the case of pregnancy, injuries, lesions, traumas or particular physical conditions before the class begins.

The practice should be carried out 6 days a week to obtain maximum benefits from this discipline.
In such circumstances women can rest for the first 2/3 days of the menstrual cycle or in any case avoid inverted postures.
If you practice daily it is possible to rest during the days of the full and new moon.
